I am so excited to be very near to graduation with a degree in forensic nursing. It couldn’t have come at a better time, since my scholarship money is rapidly depleting. In one more semester I will have my degree. It is a great feeling.

I always knew that I wanted to be in a profession that helped and cared for people. I didn’t want to be a doctor, however. In my mind, the stress and risk of burnout being a doctor was much too high. What is the point really of having lots of money when you have no time to enjoy it?

Forensic nursing was the perfect choice for me. It comes at a level above other nursing fields, but I think that I can rise to meet the challenge. I just can’t wait to get my career started. This degree was challenging to obtain, but it was also well worth it.
